Lizard Brain Productions is developing a live-action adaptation of Martheus Wade’s Jetta, a multi-genre action series. Lizard Brain filmmaker Bruce Williams said, “We are in production, shooting this month and August. We’re aiming for product for the 2011 Festival Season.” He adds, “It’s exciting to see all the interest our project is generating. While on the dais at last month’s Comicon in Ohio, I witnessed a Jetta costume contest and folks clamoring for our posters. It was off the chart.”

Williams promises "a high degree of faithfulness" to the graphic novel, although he proudly uses his hometown, San Francisco, as the US city in the story.

Los Angeles actress Michelle Laurent plays “Jetta”, the role she says that she was born to play. “And we are extraordinarily fortunate to have Calvin Roberts, from Ultraviolet and Star Wars fame, as DP on the project,” says producer Zephyre Blue.“ We have San Francisco designer Paul Gallo doing our costumes, and Francis Boyd, from Pirates of the Caribbean, as our Sword/Props Consultant. Of course there is lots of San Francisco acting talent for the cast, and, much like MAW PRODUCTIONS, the creators of Jetta, many of our close friends and family members make up the creative team and crew.“
